Evacuation of Polish Nationals from Israel Underway: Military Transport Planes Dispatched

In a swift response to the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas, Poland has taken decisive action to ensure the safety of its citizens currently in Israel. Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak announced that the Polish government is dispatching C-130 Hercules transport planes to facilitate the evacuation of Polish nationals from the region.

“We will send C-130 Hercules transport planes for our compatriots,” declared Minister Błaszczak, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. “In a few hours, a plane will take off to evacuate Poles waiting at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv,” added Paweł Jabłoński, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The move comes as tensions continue to mount in the Middle East, with Israel facing a barrage of rocket attacks from Hamas in the Gaza Strip. President Andrzej Duda, speaking on the matter earlier today, offered his assurances that no Polish citizens have been harmed in the ongoing violence.

Minister Błaszczak underscored the importance of the Polish Armed Forces’ involvement in this operation. “The Polish Army is preparing for the evacuation of Poles from Israel. We will send C-130 Hercules transport planes for our compatriots,” he affirmed in a statement on the X platform.

Deputy Minister Jabłoński echoed these sentiments, reiterating the government’s dedication to supporting its citizens in times of need. “We do not leave our compatriots in need,” he stated emphatically. “In a few hours, a plane will take off to evacuate Poles waiting at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.”
