“In the apartment of those injured in Saturday’s explosion in Rembertów, the Military Police (ŻW) uncovered significant quantities of explosives, as well as remnants of grenades and mortar shells,” reports the Military Police.
On Saturday evening, the Military Police announced via social media an incident at the training ground in Warsaw-Rembertów.
Warsaw: Explosion at the training ground
According to the information provided, two civilians were injured as a result of the incident.
The Mazovian Branch of the Military Police, together with a sapper patrol, is conducting operations in Warsaw-Rembertów, where two civilians were injured by the explosion of an explosive charge after entering a military training ground in defiance of clearly marked entry prohibitions, Saturday’s communiqué stated.

On Saturday afternoon, the Military Police released another statement on the matter. Surprising findings have come to light.
“In the apartment of those injured in Saturday’s explosion in Rembertów, the Military Police uncovered significant quantities of explosives as well as remnants of grenades and mortar shells. For the safety of residents, a decision was made to evacuate buildings in the area of Zawiszaków Street,” the communiqué said.
