The Presidential Couple, via a video shared on social media, conveyed a warm message of Christmas wishes.
On the occasion of the holidays, the Presidential Couple addressed the Polish people in a recorded message.
President Nawrocki said in the recording:
“Ladies and Gentlemen! Dear Compatriots at home and abroad! Christmas Eve, the Vigil of the Nativity of the Lord, is the most beautiful evening of the year. It is a time when we share bread and kind words, give gifts to our loved ones, and offer the gift of our presence. A time when we are truly together—and experience it most deeply.”
The First Lady, Marta Nawrocka, added:
“Our hearts are filled with joy and goodwill. We wish to share them with our loved ones, but also with those who will not spend the holidays in the warmth of a family home.”
President Nawrocki emphasized:
“For centuries, Poles have cherished rich Christmas traditions. Festive church services, rituals, nativity plays, beautiful carols and pastorals, as well as nationwide and regional customs, are our shared heritage. Let us safeguard this treasure—and pass it on to future generations.”
Marta Nawrocka noted:
“A time of rest and respite lies ahead. We extend special remembrance to those who, during these festive days, remain on duty and ensure that the holidays are peaceful and safe. We sincerely thank them for their effort.”
The Presidential Couple addressed the Polish people with these words:
“God is born; power trembles! A great promise is fulfilled. May the miracle of the Nativity awaken hope in your hearts. May the Christ Child bless our beloved Homeland! May all disputes fall silent today. We wish you peace and prosperity at Christmas and throughout all the days of the New Year. A blessed Christmas—filled with health and family happiness! Merry Christmas!”
