Once again, statements about “forceful actions” against the Constitutional Tribunal have surfaced in the public sphere. This time, viewers of TVP in liquidation heard about “removing usurpers by force”.
On the air of TVP in liquidation, in a TVP Info program, Jacek Żakowski appeared as a guest. The commentator chose to reflect on the current situation at the Constitutional Tribunal.
“I believe the government must take action, either administrative in nature, perhaps even forceful, to clear this Tribunal building of people simulating the work of the Tribunal,” said Żakowski. He went on to speak about “removing usurpers” by the police and described it as a “radical situation”.
Let us recall that the ruling coalition has announced the use of a “forceful option” against the Constitutional Tribunal following a decision issued by the European Court of Human Rights. – “We will break down those doors,” recently declared Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski.
In the background is the situation of four judges-elect of the Constitutional Tribunal, selected by the Sejm, who have not taken the oath before the President, having only participated in a parliamentary happening.
Deputy Prime Minister Gawkowski stated that the police “will not only have to, but will have the duty and the right to correct all these situations where legal standards are being violated by Święczkowski and his associates.” In this context, he spoke about a “police attack.”
