The CPAC conference has officially begun in Jasionka—marking the first event of its kind in Poland. “I would like to sincerely thank you for defending such important values as family, marriage, nation, and moral principles. Let us ask God to bless us, so that we may respond to His call to make the world a better and more beautiful place,” said Auxiliary Bishop Stanisław Jamrozik.
Fr. Tomasz Duszkiewicz presented the organizers with a unique gift—a divided cross from Drohiczyn.
“It is tradition at these conferences that everyone refers to the Creator of all things, to God. We always begin with a prayer, regardless of denomination,” said EIC Tomasz Sakiewicz.
The opening prayer was led by Bishop Stanisław Jamrozik, auxiliary bishop of Przemyśl. “I would like to sincerely thank you for standing up for such important values as family, marriage, nation, and moral principles. Let us ask God to bless us, so that we may respond to His invitation to make the world better and more beautiful,” he said.
Fr. Tomasz Duszkiewicz recalled the words of Pope Leo XIII about being a person of hope.
“I wish you all beautiful values, that we may bring peace to the world. I come from Drohiczyn on the Bug River, and I have brought with me a symbol—a gift we wanted to offer: a divided Drohiczyn cross. People may divide the cross, but this cross is connected through the network of Christ. Let this be our guiding message—Christ unites, and may He unite our thoughts and values so that we can bring those positive values into the world,” he said.
CPAC is the largest conservative political conference in the world, originating in the United States and previously held in countries such as Australia, Japan, Hungary, and Brazil. Now, it has come to Poland, with TV Republika as a co-organizer of the event, which is taking place today in Jasionka near Rzeszów.
