The association “Pomocne łapki – Sztumskie bezdomniaki” has just shared very good news on social media. One of the dogs in its care, named Yuki, has found a new home. The four-legged friend was adopted by the Nawrocki family, and the Presidential Palace has gained a new resident.
“Do you remember Yuki, the dog who came to us straight from the street. He was tired and worn out, in need of treatment and care. Despite many announcements, Yuki did not find a family… he was already about to be sent to a shelter. His fate seemed sealed… And yet… at the last moment everything CHANGED. Instead of the road to a cage, to a shelter, he won the road to LIFE and set off for Warsaw,”
the representatives of the association wrote.
The organization from Sztum also reported that at first the dog was timid and insecure, but the Nawrocki family became so deeply involved in the socialization process that he underwent a remarkable transformation.
“At the sight of Mr. Karol, he runs with joy, wags his tail, is incredibly happy and from the very beginning has gotten along perfectly with his canine friend Basket,” the association wrote.
The post also states that Yuki’s story shows that adoption changes a dog’s life. Thanks were extended to the dog’s new owners as well as to the donors and previous caregivers.
Unfortunately, the association “Pomocne łapki – Sztumskie bezdomniaki” did not agree to the publication of photos. Readers are encouraged to visit the organization’s Facebook profile.
