Gazeta Polska Club Members from Brazil Visit Poland. “They Have Reached the Homeland of Their Ancestors”

A group of twenty-one members of the Gazeta Polska Club in Brazil have arrived in Poland. During their visit, they will tour the most important sites connected with the history and spiritual heritage of their ancestral homeland.

They began their stay in Warsaw. On the first day of their visit, the program included a tour of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, led by MP Mariusz Kałużny, as well as a meeting at the Presidential Palace with Fr. Jarosław Wąsowicz – chaplain to the President of the Republic of Poland and to the Gazeta Polska Clubs. They will also visit the headquarters of TV Republika, where they are scheduled to meet with the station’s journalists.

In the following days, they will travel to Częstochowa to visit the Chapel of Our Lady and the Jasna Góra Monastery, as well as to Kraków, where they will tour the Wawel Royal Castle and the Wawel Cathedral. The itinerary also includes a visit to Oświęcim and the memorial site of Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the Wieliczka Salt Mine in Wieliczka, and the Family Home of St. John Paul II in Wadowice.

Throughout their stay, the guests will be accompanied by Gazeta Polska Club members from various Polish cities, including Warsaw, Kraków, Częstochowa, Oświęcim, Wieliczka, Wadowice, and Piotrków Trybunalski.

Their visit to Poland will continue until March 9.
