    Gold medal for Polish women in Sofia

    The Polish national team with the first gold medal in the history of the rhythmic gymnastics World Cup competition! In Sofia, the white and red team triumphed in the final of the layout with three ribbons and two balls.

    For the Polish team, this is the second medal this season. The first one – bronze – was won in March in Greece during the inauguration of the World Championships in a layout with five hoops. 

    The Polish national team performed in Sofia in the line-up: Malgorzata Roszatycka, Milena Gorska, Madoka Przybylska, Julia Wojciechowska and Magdalena Szewczuk. The excellent result is also thanks to Polish national team coach Inga Buczynska. (pzg.pl)

    White and red athletes kicked off the weekend with preliminary competitions, including a five-hoop layout and a multi-jump challenge. The athletes placed eighth in the five-hoop layout and fifth in the multi-competition classification.

    The finals were on Sunday and the Polish athletes won! This is the first gold medal for Poland in the 40-year history of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup.
