Snow-covered roads grip multiple regions in Poland amid a new low-pressure system and warm front traversing the country. Christmas Eve forecasts predict snowfall in western Pomerania, Łódź, Wielkopolska, Warmia-Masuria, and Lubusz.
Sunday: Snow and Rain
Sunday will feature heavy clouds, rain in the west, and snow transitioning to rain or sleet elsewhere. Icy patches may emerge due to freezing rain. Rainfall could hit 10mm (west/southwest) and 15mm (Sudetes), increasing Carpathian snow cover by 10cm.
Temperatures range from -1°C (northeast) to 10°C (west). Winds escalate to 60 km/h (west) and 70 km/h (coast). Mountainous areas might encounter gusts up to 110 km/h and 140 km/h (Carpathians/Sudetes).
Monday: Continued Clouds and Rain
Monday continues cloudy with rainfall intermittently. Temperatures vary from 5°C (northeast) to 11°C (southwest), with gusts up to 85 km/h along the coast.
Warsaw expects rain overnight, with temperatures rising to 6°C by morning and hitting 8°C during the day. Winds gusting up to 70 km/h will persist.
