    Jane Krakowski’s paternal lineage boasts a rich Polish heritage. Her paternal grandfather, Edward Alexander Krajkowski, was born in Brooklyn, Kings, New York, to Alexander Krajkowski and Anna Rogowska, both of Polish descent. Alexander, Jane’s great-grandfather, hailed from Lukoszyn, while Anna was the daughter of Antoni Rogowski and Maryanna Potyarlski.

    From Broadway to Primetime: Jane Krakowski’s Show-Stopping Career

    Krakowski’s breakout moment came when she starred as Dinah the Dining Car in the 1987 production of “Starlight Express.” However, it was her portrayal of the sultry Carla in the hit musical “Nine” in 2003 that earned her critical acclaim and a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Her exceptional singing and dancing skills combined with her undeniable stage presence solidified her status as a Broadway icon.
