How should the state deal with the influx of illegal migrants? Konrad Berkowicz, a Member of Parliament from the Confederation party, outlined several solutions. He also warned: “If we don’t do this, we’ll end up like the West.”
The process of transferring illegal migrants from Germany to Poland has been ongoing for quite some time. The number of foreigners who have been “returned” to our country over the past year can already be counted in the tens of thousands — if not more.
However, this phenomenon has intensified in recent weeks, sparking strong public opposition. As a result, patriotic groups such as the Border Defence Movement are guarding the safety of Polish men and women on the German border day and night.
Konrad Berkowicz, an MP from the Confederation, published a post on social media in which he outlined how Poland could deal with this growing problem.
“We must stop encouraging immigrants with welfare benefits, stand up to Brussels, withdraw from the Migration Pact, and seal the border. We need to reinstate border controls and introduce the death penalty for murder, without regard for EU standards. If we don’t do this, we’ll end up like the West,” reads Berkowicz’s post.
