    Hubert Hurkacz from Poland emerged victorious in the Shanghai Masters final, after a nail-biting battle against the formidable Andrei Rublev. The final scoreline read 6:3, 3:6, 7:6 in favor of the 26-year-old Pole, marking his triumphant conquest of the seventh tournament in his career.

    Hurkacz’s journey to clinching the Shanghai title was marked by thrilling matches and moments of sheer determination.

    In the final, the Pole started strongly, taking control of the match and breaking his opponent in the first set. However, Rublev came back with a vengeance in the second set, leaving the match finely poised. 

    The decisive third set saw both men serving at their best, and it ultimately came down to a thrilling tie-break. There, Hurkacz exhibited nerves of steel, defending a match point when Rublev was leading 6-5. This crucial moment showcased the mental and physical strength of the Polish star. In the end, it was Hurkacz who triumphed in the tie-break, securing the victory with a score of 7:6 (10:8).
