Romanowski addressed the issue on TV Republika, asserting he had tolerated various unlawful actions by Poland’s judiciary but stated a boundary was crossed. He dismissed the charges against him as absurd, accusing the government of operating a lawless regime.
Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has summoned the Hungarian ambassador for a formal protest. Concurrently, Poland’s ambassador to Hungary, Sebastian Kęciek, was recalled to Warsaw for consultations.
