President Andrzej Duda arrived in Kyiv this morning on an unannounced visit, the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland announced on social media. According to the statement, a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is planned. It is worth recalling what President Duda’s memorable visit to the Ukrainian capital looked like — one day before the Russian invasion.
“There are many memories and assessments of my presidency circulating in the public sphere. I am adding my own, original evaluation — as lawyers would say: an ‘authentic interpretation.’ I present the path I have taken, from my own perspective. These are my assessments, a description of my motivations, emotions, and the various circumstances that accompanied them. Hence the title – “It’s Me. Andrzej Duda,” the president explains.
