“This fight will not be easy. You will have to be here more than once, and perhaps in other places in Poland. It will be necessary to mobilize in strength to win the next local government elections, EU elections, and presidential elections,” said the leader of the Law and Justice Party (PiS), Jarosław Kaczyński, after the Protest for Free Poles.
Nearly 300,000 people participated in the Protest for Free Poles in Warsaw. At its conclusion, PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński addressed the crowd.
“Thank you and please remember that this fight will not be easy and that you will have to be here more than once, maybe also in other places in Poland. It will be necessary to mobilize in strength to win the next local government elections, EU elections, and presidential elections and defeat this evil once and for all,” he emphasized.
Kaczyński also addressed the issue of victory over post-communism: “We have achieved this for 8 years, but I hope that in the coming years, we will succeed in doing so forever and ultimately.”
