Kaczynski visits Brussels, meets with farmers and speaks about “climate madness”

“We are strongly against the Green Deal, the madness which harms the interests of farmers, but also harms democracy. What is happening in connection with the Green Deal means annihilation on a European scale,” PiS President Jaroslaw Kaczynski said in Brussels today.

PiS Chairman Jaroslaw Kaczynski is in Brussels in connection with the protests of European farmers. The opposition leader met with journalists during a briefing.

“I came here in connection with the farmers’ protest, there were meetings with farmers, very interesting, allowing us to clarify various issues, including listening to claims against us and those relating to internal affairs and the situation in the EU,” Jaroslaw Kaczynski said.

“We are strongly against the Green Deal, the madness which harms the interests of farmers, but also harms democracy. What is happening in connection with the Green Deal means annihilation on a European scale. The issue of Europe’s security, food security, is very important,” the chairman of the Law and Justice party stated.

“Europe cannot construct its policies based on utopia,” Kaczynski stressed. In his view, the Green Deal as a whole, means not only the annihilation of agriculture, but also a powerful blow to the wallets of Europeans and the European economy.
