Kamil Syprzak’s impressive performance propels him to the podium as the third top scorer in the French League.
Syprzak Secures Third Place in Scoring Charts
Kamil Syprzak, the Polish representative, concluded the season in superb style in the French League. He netted 10 goals in PSG’s victorious final match against Aix-en-Provence (33-31), finishing as the league’s third top scorer. Syprzak surpassed Benjamin Richert from Chambery just in time, as he had 174 goals compared to Richert’s 180 before the last matches. In Tuesday’s game, “Sypa” added 10 goals to his tally, while his rival failed to score. Securing a place on the podium is a significant achievement for the Polish player, although he might feel a slight sense of regret. Had it not been for the injury he suffered in late December, which caused him to miss four league matches, Syprzak could have potentially claimed the title of the league’s top scorer. The Serbian winger Nemanja Ilić, who won the classification, outscored Syprzak by a mere 18 goals.
Syprzak’s Season Highlights and Future Prospects
Last week, Syprzak celebrated his fourth French championship title with PSG. Furthermore, he has the chance to add another achievement to his resume by clinching the Champions League trophy. In less than two weeks, Syprzak and his Parisian team will compete in the final tournament in Cologne. In the semifinals, PSG will face Barlinek Industria Kielce.
