Kierwiński Threatens Members of the Border Defense Movement: “No Special Treatment”

As soon as Marcin Kierwiński was sworn in as Minister of the Interior and Administration, he began issuing warnings to members of the Border Defense Movement via posts on platform X. Today, during a briefing with provincial governors and heads of security services, he reiterated his position, stating that any attempts to “interfere” with officers or soldiers would not go unanswered.

The meeting at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration focused on the situation at Poland’s borders. Also present were Deputy Minister of National Defense Cezary Tomczyk and Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Piotr Malepszak.

Kierwiński declared that Poland’s borders are secure but couldn’t resist directing a pointed comment at members of the Border Defense Movement.

“Any attempts to obstruct officers and soldiers, any efforts to insult people who work hard for Poland’s security, will not go unanswered. We will respond to this on an ongoing basis,” he said.

Earlier, he also referred to the actions of patriots at the border in a post on X.

“Thank you to everyone who has been encouraging me since yesterday to work effectively at the Ministry of the Interior. You know me. You know there will be no special treatment. There are those who can attest to that. I count on your support, but also on your criticism. Zero leniency for those who broke the law,” he wrote.

Internet users, however, first want to know how Kierwiński handled the reconstruction of flood-damaged areas.
