“Your tremendous efforts during the election campaign were the primary reason behind Karol Nawrocki’s victory. […] From an organizational standpoint, in shaping the mindset of those ten million people, it was the work of Tomasz Sakiewicz—and yours, as members of the Gazeta Polska Clubs—that proved absolutely decisive,” said Antoni Macierewicz, addressing the club members.
The 20th Convention of the Gazeta Polska Clubs in Sulejów concluded with a meeting featuring former Minister of National Defence, Antoni Macierewicz. He emphasized the critical importance of the coming weeks in the context of the swearing-in of President-elect Karol Nawrocki.
“We have not faced a dilemma of this magnitude in decades. At its core, this is a simple but fundamental issue. This is not a political dispute between parties, nor is it a personal or financial conflict. This is a struggle for the very existence of the Polish state. We all must recognize this,” began the Law and Justice MP.
He reiterated to the club members:
“Your significant contribution during the campaign was the main reason for his victory.”
“Of course, without such an outstanding figure as Karol Nawrocki, the situation would have been entirely different. However, from the standpoint of organizing and mobilizing those ten million people, it was the work of Tomasz Sakiewicz and yours, as Club members, that was absolutely decisive,” he emphasized.
Macierewicz, however, noted that this was only the beginning of their efforts.
“I know that you have been active for many years—decades, in fact. Your formation represents a social force that has long been organized,” he added.
He continued:
“The key moment will come on August 6th.”
“Many matters must be assessed in a long-term perspective. But everything now hinges on what happens on August 6th. That day will determine whether the Polish state continues to exist. Mr. Donald Tusk makes no secret of his intention to destroy the Polish state. There is no room for doubt. They have signed all the fundamental decisions within the European Union that directly dismantle the structure of our state—not only in economic, political, and social terms, but even militarily.”
He accused the current authorities:
“Today, Mr. Donald Tusk openly declares that he effectively does not recognize President Nawrocki. We are hearing talk of recounting votes—this could go on for months, perhaps even years. In reality, power is to be handed over to Mr. Szymon Hołownia. This has been clearly stated. For the Prime Minister, the law no longer exists. He now stands at a crossroads: either he fails to fulfill the promises he made to the European Union, or he wins. And he will win only if we allow this lawlessness to prevail.”
“That is what I ask of you—be ready on August 6th. That is the most important thing. We must demonstrate our strength so they do not dare to challenge us,” he concluded, once again addressing the gathered supporters.
