A substantial delivery of American military equipment has reached the Polish Armed Forces, with the unloading process underway in Świnoujście. Minister of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, announced the arrival of 11 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) and M1A1 Abrams tanks. The equipment, part of a 2019 agreement, aims to enhance Poland’s defense capabilities.

Minister Błaszczak revealed that the current focus is on unloading the 11 HIMARS launchers, with additional launchers and M1A1 Abrams tanks, accompanied by technical support vehicles, awaiting their turn for unloading.
The Armament Agency also confirmed the delivery on the X platform, stating, “Additional launchers for the first battalion of HOMAR-A (tactical ballistic missile system) have arrived in Poland.” After almost six months, the port of Świnoujście is bustling with activity as the unloading of military equipment continues.
