    Man Escapes from Police Convoy in Piaseczno

    In a dramatic turn of events in Piaseczno, a town near Warsaw, an intense manhunt is underway for an escapee from a police convoy. The 36-year-old man, who had been escorted from a correctional facility in Grojec to a court hearing in Piaseczno, managed to overpower the officers and flee the scene.


    Assault on Officers

    The situation escalated when the officers stopped their patrol car in response to the man’s discomfort. Seizing the opportunity, the 36-year-old launched a violent attack on the officers. Surprisingly, he managed to free himself from the handcuffs moments after exiting the vehicle, leaving the officers stunned. The Piaseczno police headquarters immediately declared a state of emergency and initiated a search operation with the assistance of a helicopter, as confirmed by Rafał Jeżak from the regional police command in Radom.

    The fugitive had a history of minor crimes, heightening concerns surrounding his escape. Officers from the control department of the regional police command swiftly arrived at the scene to lead the search efforts. With the situation unfolding rapidly, law enforcement agencies are actively pursuing the escaped individual, aiming to promptly apprehend him.
