A quarter of a million Poles participated in the Independence March, announced Rafał Buca from the organizing committee on social media.
The Warsaw Security Center reported that approximately 100,000 people were taking part in the event.
This year’s march was held under the slogan “One Nation, Strong Poland,” which is also displayed on the banner carried at the front of the march.
Before the event, organizers estimated that around 250,000 to 300,000 people might attend the demonstration.
