Migrants on the Streets of Szczecin: “What Is Going On? Ten People from Somalia?”

MP Dariusz Matecki (Law and Justice party) shared a concerning video recorded on a street in Szczecin. Local residents called the police after a group of African migrants allegedly disrupted public order.

The incident took place on Mickiewicza Street in Szczecin, where a group of men from Africa had gathered. Police were dispatched to the scene. Communication with the men proved difficult, as they did not speak English. One of them stated that he was from Somalia.

“Why did I go there? Residents informed me that these individuals had been sitting there since 7:00 p.m., making it difficult for people to go about their normal lives—until the police finally arrived. What is going on here? Ten people from Somalia on Mickiewicza Street in Szczecin?” asked Matecki in disbelief.

One Incident After Another

It is worth noting that Poland has recently witnessed a number of troubling incidents involving illegal migrants. In Skierniewice, three such individuals were placed in a children’s home, only to escape under the cover of night. In Lubin, two naked men from Ethiopia were seen running through the city. And in a children’s home near Warsaw—as revealed today by MP Krzysztof Mulawa (Confederation party)—an illegal migrant was housed after being apprehended in a stolen vehicle.
