Morawiecki slams VIP lounge affair: “A state of extraordinary contempt for citizens”

“The state of Donald Tusk and Dawid Kacprzyk is a state of extraordinary contempt for citizens. How can you tell people that there is a lack of money in the healthcare system? How can you lengthen queues, state that certain medical procedures will not be available, and at the same time allow the caste of pharaohs from Civic Platform (PO) to simply drain the state?” said former prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

In an interview with RMF FM, the former head of government stressed that Dawid Kacprzyk, who is already outside the Civic Coalition (KO), was an important figure in Donald Tusk’s political camp and a close associate of the prime minister. He recalled that this young doctor, while still in specialist training, was said to have earned PLN 1.6 million last year.

“This man will of course now be frantically erased,” Morawiecki assessed.

He added that the Warsaw Southern Hospital has become a private hospital financed with public money.

“Prominent activists of Civic Platform (PO) as an elite were getting treatment, coming in with headaches. At the same time, someone after an accident was waiting,” said the vice-president of Law and Justice (PiS).

He also assured that he would defend medical professionals, as the vast majority of people working in this field are honest.
