If former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki were to establish a political party called Rozwój Plus, it would receive 7.4 percent support, according to a new IBRiS poll for Rzeczpospolita. The Civic Coalition (KO) would lead with 30.1 percent, while Law and Justice (PiS) would receive 17.3 percent.
The IBRiS survey, conducted on July 24–25, included the hypothetical scenario of Morawiecki launching his own political party.
PiS in second place
According to the poll, 30.1 percent of respondents would vote for the Civic Coalition, up one percentage point compared with the beginning of July.
Law and Justice would come second with 17.3 percent support, a decline of nearly six percentage points from the previous survey conducted in early July.
Confederation would place third with 12.3 percent support, down one percentage point, followed by MEP Grzegorz Braun’s Confederation of the Polish Crown, which would receive 10.9 percent, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points.
Morawiecki’s hypothetical Rozwój Plus party would come next with 7.4 percent support.
The New Left would also clear the electoral threshold, receiving 7 percent of the vote, down 1.4 percentage points.
The remaining parties would fail to enter parliament. The Polish People’s Party (PSL) would receive 2.8 percent (down 1.1 percentage points), Together (Razem) 1.6 percent (down 0.7 percentage points), and Poland 2050 just 0.5 percent.
Meanwhile, 10.1 percent of respondents said they were undecided.
Declared voter turnout would stand at 51.4 percent, compared with 60.4 percent in the survey conducted at the beginning of July.
Right-wing support largely unchanged
The authors of the survey note that despite the emergence of Rozwój Plus, the combined support for right-wing parties remains broadly unchanged compared with the beginning of July.
According to the poll, PiS, Confederation, the Confederation of the Polish Crown, and Rozwój Plus would jointly receive 47.9 percent support, compared with 47.5 percent for PiS and the two Confederation parties in the July 2–3 survey.
The IBRiS poll for Rzeczpospolita was conducted on July 24–25, 2026, using CATI (computer-assisted telephone interviewing) on a representative sample of 1,000 adult Poles.
