Poland’s unemployment rate stood at 5.8% in June, according to data released by Statistics Poland (GUS). This marks a decrease of 0.1 percentage points compared with the previous month.
Earlier, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy had estimated that the unemployment rate in June would reach 5.8%.
According to Statistics Poland, the number of registered unemployed people at labour offices totaled 901,500 in June, down from 915,900 a month earlier.
The number of newly registered unemployed people reached 83,800 in June, compared with 81,600 in the previous month.
