Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, will receive NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the Presidential Palace, presidential spokesperson Rafał Leśkiewicz announced.
Rutte will arrive in Poland on Thursday for a one-day visit.
As presidential spokesperson Rafał Leśkiewicz wrote on X on Wednesday, the NATO Secretary General will be received in the morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Presidential Palace by President Nawrocki.
Afterwards, Rutte will visit Bemowo Piskie in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, where he will meet soldiers from the NATO multinational battlegroup stationed there. He will also meet Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence (Ministerstwo Obrony Narodowej, MON) Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. According to an announcement by the Giżycko Mechanized Brigade – the host unit of the NATO battlegroup – the visit will also be attended by British Defence Secretary John Healey.
The NATO Battlegroup stationed there includes soldiers from the United States, the United Kingdom, Romania, and Croatia. On a daily basis, they cooperate with the 15th Giżycko Mechanized Brigade.
