“Everyone is getting involved in trying to save a political project named Rafał Trzaskowski,” said Karol Nawrocki, the PiS-backed presidential candidate, during a visit to Wałbrzych. He argued that financial resources from state-owned companies and foreign entities are being used to rescue this project. Many individuals involved are directly connected to the Democratic Party, including former staffers from the Obama and Harris campaigns.
WP Reveals a Scandal
On Thursday, Wirtualna Polska reported that online ads promoting Rafał Trzaskowski and discrediting Karol Nawrocki and Sławomir Mentzen were linked to an employee and volunteers from the Akcja Demokracja foundation. The foundation is headed by Jakub Kocjan, who recently served as an assistant to KO (Civic Coalition) MP Iwona Karolewska.
Nawrocki was asked about the matter on Thursday in Wałbrzych. “I think no one in Poland has any doubts anymore that Rafał Trzaskowski is the result of a political laboratory. He is a man whose image has been manufactured by some commercial TV stations and by state television. He is not ready to serve as President of Poland. The Civic Platform (PO) is fully aware of this, which is why he is being supported on one hand by state institutions, and on the other by government TV. As we know, even the intelligence services have been involved in this campaign, so now everyone is engaged in saving this political project called Rafał Trzaskowski,” said Nawrocki.
He added, “Standing opposite him is a real person of flesh and blood, a representative of the citizens of the Polish state.”
Aggressive Support for Trzaskowski
He commented that the revelations by Wirtualna Polska “show that there is—and has been—an aggressive effort to support Rafał Trzaskowski in the presidential race.”
“We’re seeing that financial resources—from state-owned companies, and now also from foreign entities—are being used to rescue this project and take victory away from the Polish people,” he emphasized. He admitted he has grown used to running a campaign “without funding from the party that supports me.”
“I’m campaigning while being attacked by Polish state institutions. Now I see that foreign organizations are joining the attacks through online platforms and social media. But I’ll end on an optimistic note: I intend to win this election. This is a fight between Karol Nawrocki and the citizens against everyone else,” he declared.
Estratos Linked to Polish Election Scandal
Estratos Digital focuses on digital political marketing and campaigning, with a particular emphasis on online fundraising. According to the company, it supports progressive political initiatives, social movements, NGOs, and civic campaigns. It offers digital tools designed to engage supporters, analyze data, and run internet-based electoral campaigns.
The majority shareholder of Estratos is the Higher Ground Labs Fund III LP, which is linked to the U.S. Democratic Party. In Hungary, Estratos has faced allegations of illegally processing personal data and concealing the sources of campaign financing.
Many individuals involved are directly connected to the Democratic Party, including former staffers from the Obama and Harris campaigns.
Civic Coalition and Rafał Trzaskowski’s campaign team to manipulate public opinion
Recent materials revealed by TVP World exposed that Trzaskowski’s coalition resorted to the same behind-the-scenes, non-transparent practices that Estratos employed abroad. This is not only a disgrace for the Civic Coalition’s campaign team but also a real threat to the sovereignty of the Polish electoral process. Using foreign funds and tools to interfere in domestic politics is a blatant disregard for the law and a betrayal of the interests of Polish citizens in favor of narrowly defined partisan goals. Such actions not only undermine the principles of democratic fairness but also demonstrate a deep cynicism towards Polish voters.
