Nawrocki Expresses Gratitude for Prayerful Support

“I felt the strength of your prayers every day of the election campaign,” wrote newly elected President Karol Nawrocki on the X platform. He expressed his gratitude for the prayers offered for his victory and added that during the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, “we focus our thoughts on fervent prayer.”

“On this special day for all Christians, as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, we focus our thoughts on fervent prayer. And today, I would like to thank you for your prayerful support for my victory in the presidential election,” Nawrocki wrote on X.

He emphasized that he felt the power of prayer throughout the campaign.

“I felt the strength of your prayers every day of the campaign. Your prayers strengthened me and my family. Today, I will pray for you. With love for Poland and God in my heart,” he concluded.

Karol Nawrocki ran for president as an independent candidate with the support of the Law and Justice party. In the second round of the election on June 1, he defeated Civic Coalition candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, receiving 50.89% of the vote.

On Sunday, the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity—one of the most important Christian feasts, honoring the Holy Trinity: God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The feast was established for the entire Church in 1334 by Pope John XXII.

In the Roman Catholic Church, the solemnity is observed on the Sunday following Pentecost. It is also celebrated by Protestant, Old Catholic, and Orthodox Churches, though often on different dates.
