President Karol Nawrocki will travel to the United States on Friday, where he will take part in the CPAC conference (Conservative Political Action Conference). A meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump is also planned. Information about the president’s trip to the U.S. was reported by Polsat News.
During his visit to the United States, Nawrocki is expected to tour an F-35 fighter jet manufacturing facility and meet with members of the Polish diaspora in Texas.
According to reports, during the CPAC conference, Nawrocki will not only meet with Donald Trump but will also deliver a speech, which, as emphasized, is not common practice for Polish presidents.
Nawrocki last met with Trump in January during the World Economic Forum in Davos. At that time, the president stressed that Poland’s relations with the United States are stable and crucial for the country’s security. The two politicians had also previously met in September 2025 at the White House and in May 2025, when Nawrocki was still a presidential candidate.
One of the key points of the visit will be a stop in Fort Worth, Texas, where F-35 fighter jets are produced. Poland has ordered 32 of these aircraft, which will be stationed at air bases in Łask and Świdwin. Aircraft of this type are also used by many European countries, and their acquisition, together with pilot training in the United States, will significantly strengthen the capabilities of the Polish Air Force.
The contract for the purchase of the F-35s, worth $4.6 billion, was signed in 2020 and is one of the largest defense procurement deals in Poland’s history.
