According to a survey conducted by SW Research, 48.8% of respondents believe that Law and Justice (PiS) will take over power after the 2027 parliamentary elections. Only a quarter of those polled (26.1%) held the opposite view, while a similar share (25.1%) said they had no opinion on the matter.
The poll was commissioned by Onet. Among women, 44.8% believe PiS will return to power, compared to 53.4% of men. Conversely, 27.7% of women and 24.3% of men believe PiS will not regain power.
The highest percentage of those predicting a PiS comeback was found among young people aged up to 24, at 52.7%. The lowest share was among people over the age of 50, at 46.6%.
The survey was conducted on July 1–2, 2025, by the SW Research agency using the Computer-Assisted Web Interview (CAWI) method, via the SW Panel online panel. A total of 804 interviews were carried out with a nationwide sample of adults. The study applied quota sampling to ensure the sample was representative in terms of the overall distribution of gender, age, and size of place of residence.
