“High treason” – this is what the attackers allegedly shouted while assaulting former Health Minister Adam Niedzielski. The politician was taken to the hospital.
Former Health Minister Adam Niedzielski was hospitalized after being beaten in Siedlce, in front of a restaurant. Police confirmed that Niedzielski was attacked by two unidentified perpetrators, most likely for political reasons. The men are said to have shouted slogans connected to decisions made by Niedzielski during his time as minister.

Adam Niedzielski did not expect the assault. The former head of the Health Ministry was approached by two men after leaving the restaurant. It started with words. According to unofficial information, one of the aggressors shouted at the former minister: “high treason.” Moments later, the man allegedly lunged at Niedzielski with his fists, SE reports.
Dr. Mariusz Mioduski, medical director of the Mazovian Provincial Hospital in Siedlce, confirmed that the victim is former Health Minister Adam Niedzielski. “These are not very serious injuries,” he assessed, adding that it is very likely that the patient “will not qualify for hospitalization, but diagnostics are still ongoing for now.”
