Not Just Education Minister Barbara Nowacka Anymore: Deputy Justice Minister Maria Ejchart Delivers an Attack on the Catholic Church

The Freedom Games took place in Łódź, featuring a panel titled “How to Stop the Brown Tide in Poland?” Among the speakers were well-known faces associated with the slogan “respect for the law – as we understand it.” Even the moderator fit perfectly into this atmosphere. It all reeked of Stalinism.

Lawyer Michał Sopiński from the University of Warsaw drew attention to the composition of the panel “How to Stop the Brown Tide in Poland?”, which took place last weekend in Łódź as part of the Freedom Games.

The lineup guaranteed emotions: Adam Bodnar, Maria Ejchart, Jarosław Kurski, with Dorota Wysocka-Schnepf as moderator.

“Could there be a worse set of speakers? Is this already the worst that could have happened to us?”

the lawyer asked rhetorically.

He went on to warn that what happened in Łódź should not be trivialized.

“These are very dangerous people. Their goal is the total annihilation of anyone who thinks differently from them – by any means and methods,”

we read on Michał Sopiński’s profile on X.

In another post, the UW lecturer quoted the words spoken during the discussion panel by Maria Ejchart, deputy head of the Ministry of Justice – words he described as scandalous:

“The Church is among those parties and organizations that support extremist circles; the Catholic Church is responsible for the brown tide and radicalism.”

The quote was sharply commented on by Sopiński himself:

“Professor Andrzej Nowak was right. We are governed by the spiritual heirs of the 4th Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.”
