Recently, as many as 37 underage illegal migrants have been placed in Polish children’s homes, according to findings from a parliamentary inspection.
The Skierniewice Care and Educational Facility “Dom” was obligated to accept the young migrants brought in for emergency placement. Three illegal migrants were delivered to this location—authorities were unaware of their actual ages, as two of them had no identification documents at all. They were transported by the Border Guard.
It has since emerged that such practices are commonly employed.
Alarming: Underage Migrants Housed in Polish Orphanages
Krzysztof Mulawa, a Member of Parliament from the Confederation party, conducted a parliamentary intervention at the Border Guard facility in Lesznowola. What he discovered was deeply concerning.
“These were not isolated incidents. Recently, 37 other underage illegal migrants have been placed in various children’s homes across Poland, the most recent just yesterday in a facility located in Piaseczno County,” he stated.
“Mr. Tusk, please do not endanger the safety of Polish children. If you wish to welcome illegal migrants, do so in your own home, not in Polish children’s homes,” Mulawa added pointedly.
“The use of Polish orphanages to house migrants is a practice that should not be taking place,” emphasized Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, Krzysztof Bosak.
