Father’s Day is celebrated in Poland on June 23rd. On this occasion, the President of the Republic of Poland and the First Lady shared warm wishes for all fathers on the official website of the Presidential Chancellery.
“A joyful celebration!”
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all gentlemen on the occasion of Father’s Day. It is a joyful celebration of gratitude for all the good that fathers share with their loved ones. It is also a time for reflection on the role of a father and the challenges of the modern world.
The Presidential Couple went on to express their appreciation:
We thank you for your fatherly care, concern, and protection. We thank you for that extraordinary, ever-open space in a father’s heart—always waiting for children in need of support, comfort, and the reassurance that Dad is present. That he shares in their joys, achievements, and happiness, but also stands with them through their troubles, worries, and struggles against adversity.
They further wrote:
We also thank you for confronting the challenges of our times—when fatherly care must extend beyond the physical world to the increasingly influential virtual realm. In a world where children’s spontaneity and trust may be exploited or harmed, we are grateful to the fathers who remain vigilant in safeguarding their children in this space as well.
Above all, we wish you abundant joy—the kind that flows from a father’s heart and fills the hearts of children, helping make the world a better place. A smiling father brings joy not only to his children, but to the entire family. When a father smiles, children are happy too. As Janusz Korczak once said: “When a child laughs, the whole world laughs.” May this message accompany all fathers celebrating today.
