Jerzy Krzanowski, co-founder of the prominent furniture company Nowy Styl, was found dead late Thursday night. The 54-year-old businessman had been missing since Thursday afternoon when he left his home in Krościenko Wyżne in the Podkarpackie region. His body was discovered around 1 a.m. by rescue teams.
The search, which commenced at 2 p.m. on Thursday, involved police officers, firefighters, and tracking dogs, and even employed a drone equipped with a thermal imaging camera. Despite these extensive efforts, the tragic outcome was confirmed early Friday morning.
Krzanowski, along with his brother Adam, co-founded Nowy Styl, which has grown to become one of Europe’s largest office furniture manufacturers. Jerzy Krzanowski was recognized as one of Poland’s wealthiest individuals, leaving behind a significant legacy in the business world. The local police in Krosno, represented by Press Officer Paweł Buczyński, have confirmed the discovery and are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
