Ongoing Communication Chaos: Border Guard Contradicts Itself Again [VIDEO]

Border Guard confirms information it had previously denied. Communication chaos in services subordinate to Minister Kierwiński continues unabated – just like the testing of Poland by eastern services through provocations under the cover of smuggling.

On Sunday, the portal Niezalezna.pl reported another batch of smuggling balloons that crossed Poland’s airspace. The information, which we confirmed with the Podlaskie Border Guard Unit was later denied by the General Headquarters of the Border Guard.

Information chaos continues

TV Republika once again contacted the Border Guard regarding the balloons and again received confirmation of our unofficial findings. “On Sunday night, meteorological balloons crossed the Polish border. Activities are currently underway to identify the perpetrators of these flights. The estimated value of the seized goods is 100,000 zlotys,” said Second Lieutenant Konrad Szwed from the press office of the General Headquarters of the Border Guard in a conversation with a journalist from TV Republika’s news program “Dzisiaj”.

However, on the X platform, services subordinate to the Ministry of the Interior and Administration claimed that “on Sunday there was no crossing of the Polish border by objects.” “Such an incident took place on the night from Friday to Saturday, which we reliably reported,” the Border Guard and the police stated. On Sunday, the Border Guard called information about balloons from Belarus appearing over Poland a “fake news.”

Only after the weekend

The portal Niezalezna.pl was also the first to report more than 50 smuggling balloons that entered Polish airspace on the night from Friday to Saturday, equipped with GPS trackers and contraband.

Over the weekend, our journalists tried to find out from the services how many elements from the objects had been found over two days. Several times we were referred to information that was to be released only on Monday.
That was also when a partial, official summary of the actions of Polish services in seizing the cargo and debris of objects sent en masse from Belarus appeared. However, there was no summary of whether more than the previously disclosed nine balloons had been found. It was confirmed, however, that the incidents occurred on Saturday – January 17 – and Sunday – January 18. Earlier, the Border Guard had claimed that the Sunday border violations were “fake news”…

Testing Poland continues

Still over the weekend, the Border Guard and the police, in a joint statement, reported that they have “full awareness that the current situation is part of broader actions of a hybrid nature,” whose aim is “not only to test our systems.”

They thus confirmed the view long raised by the National Security Bureau that “we are dealing with a provocation under the guise of smuggling activity.”
