Peja in the Presidential Palace?! The Rapper Visits the President: “A Valuable and Enlightening Conversation”

On Wednesday, social media was set ablaze by sensational news — legendary rapper Peja (Ryszard Andrzejewski) paid a visit to the Presidential Palace. The artist’s post electrified the internet as he described his visit and shared what happened there. And it all began… with a letter to the Chancellery of the President of Poland.

Full of surprises and shared topics

“In response to the letter I sent to the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, we were invited to an official meeting with President Karol Nawrocki, which took place today,” the famous rapper began his post on social media.

Although Peja clarified that he wouldn’t reveal all the details of the conversation, he said that difficult topics were discussed, without avoiding issues requiring honesty and courage. At the same time, he emphasized that the meeting was peaceful, relaxed, and pleasant — free from tensions or political posturing.

“The conversation took place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I would like to thank the staff of the Chancellery who helped organize the meeting, as well as the President himself,” he continued:

“As a citizen who loves his country, I decided to go beyond writing posts on social media, following the rule that ‘fortune favors the brave.’ I consider the conversation valuable and enlightening.”

And, importantly, he reminded everyone that every citizen has the right to contact the nation’s top official:

“As citizens of the Polish State, you have the full right to reach out to the highest public official.”

Gandi Ganda in the background

In the photos shared by the rapper on social media, another familiar figure appears beside him — Gandi Ganda, his longtime collaborator and close rap companion.

This is a telling detail — Peja didn’t come alone, but with a representative of his world, his “crew.” In the caption, he emphasized that the meeting was official, suggesting that the Presidential Chancellery treated the matter seriously, not as a media stunt.

For many commentators, Peja’s visit to the President was more than just a celebrity event — it symbolized a dialogue between hip-hop culture and the highest levels of state authority. It’s also noteworthy that President Karol Nawrocki isn’t a stranger to rap — in past interviews, he’s admitted to listening to Polish hip-hop and expressed admiration for artists such as Peja and KęKę.

Public reactions

As expected, internet users were quick to respond. The post was flooded with comments of praise such as:

“This move is more than just a selfie with the president — it’s a statement.”

“He doesn’t talk, he acts — respect.”

At the same time, speculation began to swirl: is Peja entering politics? Is this the start of a new role as a mediator between citizens and the government? The artist himself, however, avoids any clear political declarations, emphasizing that the meeting was purely civic in nature.

For the Presidential Palace, meanwhile, the gesture shows that President Nawrocki wants to be seen as someone open to hearing voices from all walks of life — not only from the political elite but also from street culture. It’s a signal that he wants to listen and engage in conversation.
