PepsiCo, a major American corporation renowned for its vast assortment of snacks and beverages globally, has inaugurated its fifth manufacturing facility in Poland, located close to Środa Śląska. This state-of-the-art plant will be engaged in the production of Lay’s and Doritos potato chips catering to the needs of 20 European markets, generating employment for more than 450 individuals, predominantly hailing from the local vicinity.
“PepsiCo Poland opened a new production facility in Lower Silesia today. It is very impressive! This is the most environmentally sustainable investment in the European Union and another example of the joint success and close cooperation between the United States and Poland.”,

The grand opening ceremony of the factory witnessed the presence of various dignitaries, including Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the Ambassador of the United States to Poland, Mark Brzezinski, and the governor of Lower Silesia, Jarosław Obremski.
PepsiCo’s new plant was built less than 20 months ago and it is the 5th production facility in Poland. It provides around 450 new workplaces. PM Morawiecki: “Foreign investments in Poland in 2021 and 2022 exceeded the amount of PLN 110 billion and are 2 times higher than just a few years ago.”
