“There are fairytales and then there are fairytales… Some people keep telling us nothing but fairytales… Holidays in ‘Tusktopia.’ Smile, brigade…” — reads the latest post by Law and Justice (PiS). The opposition has decided to tell a fairytale for Easter. Any resemblance to real-life figures? There are no coincidences here.
“I hereby announce that this year Easter will take place” — this is how Law and Justice’s Easter fairytale begins. When asked whether people will be able to afford ham, eggs, and żurek (sour rye soup – ed.), one of the characters replies: “Smile, brigade — there’s no need to overeat during the holidays.”
There is also, of course, a visit to a gas station and even… cooking with a horse. On the menu: żurek prepared “against regulations.” Later, we see that these are supposedly “the most smiling holidays in history,” and the fairytale ends with the words: “Enjoy your Easter egg, you blockheads.”
Do you see any resemblance to real-life figures?
