Planetarium Day in Chorzów features scientific shows, musical performances, and the Polish premiere of The Stellars.
This Saturday, the Silesian Science Park in Chorzów will host Planetarium Day, offering a range of exciting shows from planetariums across Poland. Starting at 12:00, attendees can enjoy a series of scientific and musical presentations on the largest spherical screen in Poland, spanning 23 meters in diameter.
A Showcase of Polish Planetariums
Visitors will have the opportunity to see productions from planetariums in Szczecin, Zielona Góra, Olsztyn, Niepołomice, and Łódź. Each show will feature live introductions and include both traditional scientific presentations and musical performances. According to Jarosław Juszkiewicz, the spokesperson for the Chorzów Planetarium, it’s a rare chance to witness the latest work from various Polish planetariums in one place.
Premiere of “The Stellars”
On Sunday at 10:30, the planetarium will host the Polish premiere of The Stellars, a new film by Creative Planet, aimed at young audiences. This production comes from the same team behind the popular show Explore.
