PM candidate says PiS has strong arguments to change Poland for the better

A meeting between Prof. Przemysław Czarnek and journalists took place in Warsaw. The Law and Justice (PiS) candidate for prime minister said that he is ready to debate anyone based on arguments. “I can debate with anyone, but based on arguments, not hate, lies, or manipulation. Today, I spoke with my wife at length after Saturday’s events in Kraków, and she told me the same thing: tell everyone that I, our children, and you can answer every question, because we have nothing to hide. We are proud of what we have achieved,” Czarnek said.

Czarnek: “There Will Be No Democracy in Poland Without Truth”

During his speech at the “MeetUpPiS” event, PiS vice-president Przemysław Czarnek pointed to the hate and manipulation he says he has to face.

“I can argue with anyone based on arguments, not hate and manipulation. There will be no democracy in Poland if there is no truth in public communication. There is no freedom without truth,”

the MP said.

Prof. Czarnek emphasized that PiS does not lack arguments and will have even more of them thanks to an ongoing initiative to write the Law and Justice party’s program. This program, he said, will take into account the reality that Poles are facing.

“With petrol costing PLN 7.50 at many stations, with electricity being the most expensive in Europe, with rising unemployment and the closure of maternity wards,”

the PiS vice-president pointed out.

“I’m glad to see here the leading figures, the absolute top tier of journalism in Poland from all television and radio stations, people who shape what reaches the public. It is said, and it is also true, that I, too, must be careful; I will be more careful now. I learned this from Andrzej Zybertowicz not long ago. One keeps learning all the time. Andrzej Zybertowicz says that a politician is judged not by what he said, but by how he was heard. So I want you to hear me in such a way that what I say reflects my true opinion. But I also ask that what you hear be conveyed to society, because then we will truly have a chance for the development of democracy, and that is a condition of freedom,”

Czarnek told the journalists.
