The main topic of talks between Poland’s security head and US officials on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council will be tightening sanctions on Russia.
Jacek Siewiera, head of Poland’s National Security Bureau (BBN), Victoria Nuland, US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, and Michael Carpenter, the US ambassador at the OSCE, also discussed ways to strengthen the West’s united stand against Russia’s war on Ukraine.
The two-day sitting is chaired by Zbigniew Rau, Poland’s foreign minister and current OSCE (Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe) head.
The Ministerial Council is the OSCE’s central decision-making and governing body.
