Poland vs Saudi Arabia

The beginning was fairly even. The Saudis slowly gained the upper hand, while the red and white earned only yellow cards. In a short time, Jakub Kiwior, Milik and Matty Cash were punished by the arbitrator.

In the 39th minute, something amazing happened. Piotr Zielinski after the pass from Robert Lewandowski scored a goal!

Moments later, the Brazilian referee dictated a dubious penalty kick for the Saudis. Szczesny (Polish goalkeeper – ed.) showed off a capital parade after Al-Dawsari’s strike. The Juventus goalkeeper also stopped the hit and then intuitively blocked the extra time! The players went down to the break with a one-goal lead of the Poles.

The second half

The beginning was quite calm. Saudi Arabia players motivated themselves and started to attack as much as possible. Poles seemed to be a little tired but then they literally ‘woke up.’ In the 82nd minute, Lewandowski outplayed Saudi Arabia’s goalkeeper and scored an amazing goal!

Later on, the match was a little nervous. Poland’s opponents wanted to gain more time for scoring a goal, but Szczesny played like never. He defended every single ball.
