Poles Are Tired of Prime Minister Donald Tusk – Could Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski Save the Ruling Coalition?

Public fatigue with Donald Tusk’s government is growing. However, the proposal to replace him with Radosław Sikorski is also not met with approval. According to a survey conducted by SW Research for rp.pl, most Poles do not believe that such a reshuffle would improve the coalition’s chances of staying in power.

Could Sikorski Save the Coalition?

Two years of Donald Tusk’s administration have been enough for many recent polls to paint a clear picture: Poles are tired of this government.

The survey conducted by SW Research for rp.pl asked the following question:
“In your opinion, would replacing Donald Tusk with Radosław Sikorski as Prime Minister increase the ruling coalition’s chances of retaining power?”

In short, could Radosław Sikorski, as Prime Minister, save the coalition?

The answers are unlikely to bring optimism to the government camp, as they are as follows:

  • 35.9% of respondents answered “yes.”
  • 40.9% said “no.”
  • 23.1% had no opinion on the matter.
