Of these, 47% faced similar threats through email, and 40% through SMS. Additionally, 34% reported fake websites or messages as a source of concern.
Young Adults at Higher Risk
The 18-24 age group faces a higher prevalence of threats, with 54% experiencing attempts via SMS and 48% via email. Despite 41% rating their knowledge of data security as high, 16% admitted to being victims of data theft, highlighting a gap between awareness and effective prevention.
Poles owe telecom operators a staggering 497.7 million PLN. Men and middle-aged consumers bear the brunt of this debt, with residents of mid-sized cities leading in delinquency. Notably, the highest average debt belongs to Generation Z, potentially signaling future financial instability.
