An unusual police intervention took place in front of the Prime Minister’s office on Aleje Ujazdowskie in Warsaw. Officers were called to the scene because… an illumination was projected onto the building. “Now Żurek absolutely has to step in and appoint the right judicial panel so that the projector gets the proper verdict,” wrote Law and Justice (PiS) deputy spokesperson Mateusz Kurzejewski.
#2YearsOfChaos and Disappointment with a graphic of a broken heart, as well as #It’sBetter featuring images of Roman Giertych, Sławomir Nowak, Tomasz Grodzki, and Stanisław Gawłowski, along with the inscription KPO accompanied by a graphic of a luxury yacht – these were the visuals projected onto the building on Aleje Ujazdowskie on the night of October 15.
The façade of the Prime Minister’s office building remained an attraction only briefly. The slogans must have seriously irritated someone, as the police soon arrived at the scene. It remains unclear what the intervention was about, as there was neither any direct threat to life nor any offensive language involved.
The Law and Justice (PiS) deputy spokesperson suggested it might have been about… the projector. “Now Żurek absolutely has to step in and appoint the right judicial panel so that the projector gets the proper verdict,” Mateusz Kurzejewski said with bitter irony.
