    Polish MFA confirms information about Russian missile on Polish territory

    “At 3:40 pm on the territory of the village of Przewodów in the Hrubieszów district of the Lublin voivodeship, a Russian-made missile fell, resulting in the death of two citizens of the Republic of Poland,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ press officer, Lukasz Jasina, said in a press release.

    In connection with today’s events, Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau has immediately summoned the ambassador of the Russian Federation to the headquarters of the MFA in order to provide a detailed explanation of the situation.

    “On 15 November 2022, a mass shelling of the entire territory of Ukraine and its critical infrastructure by the armed forces of the Russian Federation was observed for many hours. At 3:40 pm, a Russian-made missile fell on the territory of the village of Przewodów in the Hrubieszów district of the Lublin Voivodeship, resulting in the death of two citizens of the Republic of Poland. In connection with the incident, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Professor Zbigniew Rau, summoned the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a demand for the immediate provision of detailed explanations,”

    reads the ministry’s statement.

    According to the statement, the Russian Ambassador was summoned immediately. A current conference with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is expected to take place in the coming minutes, during which he will present the stand of the Council of Ministers.
