Born in Bydgoszcz, Gollob’s journey in speedway began in 1993 when he made his debut in the Individual Speedway World Championship finals. However, it was in 1995, under the new Grand Prix format, that Gollob made history by winning the inaugural Grand Prix event held in Wrocław.
