Polish Tennis Players Discover Opponents in United Cup

Polish tennis fans await the United Cup eagerly, set to begin on December 29th and climax on January 7th. The event in Australia boasts a strong Polish squad, including Iga Świątek and Hubert Hurkacz.

Six groups, split between Perth and Sydney, will vie for victory. Poland, in Group A with Spain and Brazil, features players like Świątek, Kawa, Hurkacz, and others. Matches include singles and mixed doubles, ending with the latter.

Brazil poses the initial challenge on December 30th, led by standout Beatriz Haddad Maia. Spain, with Sorribes Tormo and Davidovich Fokina, confronts Poland on New Year’s Day.

Advancement to the quarterfinals depends on group winners and the best second-placed team from both cities. Last year, the Polish team reached the semis but fell to the eventual champions, the Americans.
